Omar Ortiz é um artista mexicano, nascido em 1977, em Guadalajara. Estudou Design Gráfico, onde aprendeu a trabalhar com diferentes técnicas tais como desenho, carvão, pastel, aguarela acrílico e aerografia. Teve aulas com o pintor Carmem Alarcon, que considera o seu maior professor de arte. Segue a linha da arte hiper-realista, caracterizando-se por um estilo minimalista baseado em três elementos: cenário branco, figura humana e tecido drapeado.
